Each of The East Hants Stingrays swimmers recieved an orange swim cap to bring awareness and funds for National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Since 2022, over a hundred swim clubs have taken part, helping raise more than $24,000 in support of Indigenous swimming programs. These funds are being used to launch a mentorship initiative designed to empower Indigenous youth in competitive swimming.
The East Hants Stingrays will wear their orange caps with pride to help bring awareness within their East Hants Community.
